"You promised not to!"
"I couldn’t help it. I’m married now."
"No, you’re not."
"Yes, and the little girl in the bed is my baby."
Quinn shook her head, eyes sad and unbelieving, “No, she’s not.”
Quinn glanced over at the bed and then back to the now grown woman in front of her. Quinn had promised herself to never grow old, but she couldn’t help but wonder what would have happened had she stayed behind that night with the other Lost Kids.
